Becoming Wifey

As embarrassed as I am to have had this 6 months hiatus, I do have my reasons:

My ultimate dream wedding was 3 weeks ago, and as I sit and reminisce about the last 21 days my mind goes blank. There are hints of white peonies and orchids, Swarovski crystals, chandeliers, and champagne, combined with mile-high kir royals, Bruchetta, Italian wine, Gondolas and Portofino memories.
And then it sunk in... i am a wife.

It's a hard thought to get used to, especially because I have since moved from my native Orange County to sunny Santa Barbara. The days of driving 20 minutes to get to South Coast Plaza have been traded for 4 minute drives down the mesa to State Steet. It's an amazing new chapter in my life and I have a lot to get used to. In the mean time, here are some things making me feel at home in a new city:

My Coffeetable books from my room in OC with my favorite Z Gallerie embellished tray

The "American Riviera" as tourists call Santa Barbara

Our new Gladiolas that I bought from the SB farmers market yesterday, amongst some wedding cards, and still-to-be-used Michael Aram gifted frames

Sweet wedding wishes in our Engagement book displayed at our wedding

My sea foam blue wedding shoes that I cannot wait to pair with a sleek LBD & My new Pour La Victoire Booties which had to be replaced after being stolen from my luggage! Oh, and a Turquoise frame that just leans against the wall for some added glamour

  1. Hi. I'm in love with those Pour La Victoire booties in the above picture and I was wondering if you happen to remember the name of them. I realize they're a couple of years old but I'm getting married in June and must find those shoes! Please help! Thank you :)
